In addition to electing the Superior General and her team for the coming six years term, the delegates to this General Chapter, hailing from 5 Continents and representing 27 countries, will evaluate the situation of the Congregation today against the yardstick of the Gospel.

With special reference to its missionary character, and in creative fidelity to the charism of Saint Emilie de Vialar, they will elaborate a broad orientation plan for the Congregation, tailored to promote the human person in all his and her dimensions, and to be relevant to the different social and cultural situations where the Sisters are present.
