The two communities in Cyprus answered to the needs of the people through education of their children until the invasion of the Turks when the Sisters were obliged to close down their schools. Presently the Sisters give private lessons mainly to refugees and teach Catechism at the Parish. A centre has been founded in Nicosia, where the Sisters minister to foreigners in difficulty.
