The Sisters of St Joseph that number over a 900 and made up of 31 nationalities, are scattered throughout the five continents. Some of their missions were founded by their Foundress, Emilie de Vialar. Others were opened after her death and in recent years.

The Congregation is called to spread to every corner of the globe. It is open to every form of apostolate which charity inspires;  education, care of the sick, social and pastoral works.

Through their works, wherever they may be present, the Sisters bear witness to the infinite tenderness of the Father for humanity.

The sisters are faithful to the words of their foundress:
Go and with what you have and will receive, do all the good you can.
