Like Saint Joseph, Patron of the Institute, the Congregation receives in silence and humility the annunciation of the mystery of the Incarnation. In abandonment to God, it is zealous in its efforts to serve his plan, in accordance with his Will. (Const 6)

The sisters of Saint Joseph of The Apparition, in the footsteps of Saint Emily, is an international missionary congregation.

Over time, some countries have changed their name and/ or their borders.

Today some countries are seeing the sisters establishing new communities while others have fewer; there are also countries where the congregation no longer has a presence.
