Jesus said to them: “Go to all the world and proclaim the Gospel to every creature” Mk 6,15
The missionary being of the Church, of every Institute, as well as of every believer, finds its foundation in the word GO. Whoever goes ‘is sent by someone else’, namely by the Lord Himself. In this sense, the one who goes is an apostle.
“The Congregation must take care that the missionary aspect of its charism remains the distinctive trait of a Sister of St Joseph of the Apparition. It is God who sends them and this is what constitutes the spiritual dynamism of the apostolic life” Const 183
In pastoral ministry the members of the Congregation are guided spiritually as they preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
They are shepherded and fed with the Word of God.
